Balloon Boy Announcement:-
Richard Heene, the father of the “Balloon Boy” Falcon Heene, held a press conference at 10:00 a.m. local time to make a “big announcement.”
Heene came out to tell the press simply that he was leaving a box near his door for reporters to ask questions. Balloon Boy
On October 15, 2009, a homemade hot air balloon believed to be carrying Heene’s son Falcon became a media spectacle after it was launched from his Fort Collins, Colorado, home. Falcon Heene was never in the balloon however as he was hiding in the attic of the family’s garage.
The incident has prompted much criticism and theories that the whole thing was a hoax or publicity stunt. The Heene family appeared on CNN hours after the event, with Falcon Heene telling Wolf Blitzer that “we did it for the show.”
